Design Your Own Tufted Piece
Curious about tufting and ready to try it for yourself? Join us for an in-person tufting workshop at our Tufting.co studio in Old Town Alexandria, VA, where you’ll learn how to create your own piece of textile art from start to finish.
This beginner-friendly workshop covers the fundamentals of using a tufting gun, including safety, setup, and basic techniques. After a short demonstration, you’ll spend most of the session transferring your design onto the tufting cloth and tufting it by hand under guided instruction.
Each participant will complete a 12 × 12-inch tufted piece using a frame sized specifically for this format. Cut pile tufting machines are provided, along with all necessary materials, yarn, fabric, and adhesive are included.
